What do you think about female navel piercing?

Does it look cool in your opinion or not? Women, do you have pierced belly button?
BlueVeins · 22-25
Nah, but I don't think piercings look good in general, except maybe ear piercings.

Yeah I think it makes me look sexy. I have the top and bottom pierced along with two hip dermal on either side. It's kinda like a fun little reminder of my femininity and growth of myself as a person.

@Carver That way you would avoid lengthy and sensitive healing process so why not?

My belly button is pierced. I wear bare belly outfits all of the time and I love my long, dangling belly button jewelry.

No, I would never get a navel piercing nor do I think they look cool. A piece of jewelry is a fashion accessory regardless of where it is worn on the body. The original intent for a piece of jewelry worn anywhere on a woman's body was to attract the eye-attention of an onlooker, or more to the point, to distract the eye of an onlooker from looking other places on her body. Navel piercings therefore, have a tendency to reduce eye contact with another person which for a woman, extends mixed messages. She has therefore disadvantaged herself socially by wearing a navel piercing due to it's distracting ability and she is thereby responsible for creating a potential miscommunication between herself and others, called 'direct eye contact'.[/c]
