What Kind of Girl Hates Heels [High Heels]?

I'm curious to know, how many of you here hate'em too. 馃

Me. They are painful and uncomfortable. I grew up with sneakers to this day.

@majesticsea Sneakers are cool 馃憣

I don't hate heels, I hate that I walk like a newborn giraffe in them.

If I wanted disgusting looking feet then I'd wear high heels. But that very reason I opted out. Comfort all the way 馃檪
SW-User
Me. I can remember being told I looked like a monkey when I first tried to walk in some ~ I prefer to be grounded
Naw I love them. I'm 5'9 and they make me 6 ft馃帀Plus I can walk in them for hours and not feel uncomfortable
zombiex826-30, M
@BlastEndedSkrewt I found haters here. Teach'em something. 馃槄
@zombiex8 each to her own馃榿I've found good quality ones that don't hurt your feet. Wear them to parties only of course, not uni
SW-User
I don't hate them. I used to wear them some years back.
And then I realised I am going to choose comfort over that.
I don't hate them but I find many them to be incredibly uncomfortable
SW-User
Me. They're uncomfortable.

I like them, but can't wear them anymore. They were damaging my toes so had to stop.
newgirl56-60, F
@zombiex8 True. But the damage was already done, required surgery to correct the toe joints.
zombiex826-30, M
@newgirl OMG! Was it that severe?? 馃い Hope you're feeling better now.
newgirl56-60, F
@zombiex8 Thanks. I had one surgery, one more to go. But, yes, it did fix the problem.

I sympathise with medical reasons etc (my wife rarely wears heels now because she has trouble with her knees) but the big advantage a woman has is that she has the choice without any stigma. I wear heels 4-4.5 inches most of the time as a man, in man mode, and it took a while to get to the level of confidence I now have. I wear them for two reasons: I love them, but I also get relief from back pain by wearing them.

I suspect that a lot of women don't like them because they've worn a badly fitting pair that hurt, or they couldn't walk very well in them the first time they tried, so 'all high heels are bad.'

I have no desire to wear them.One..I have big feet and two..I won't sacrifice comfort for fashion. As I don't feel the need to impress anyone.
I like the idea of them, but I love having healthy feet and a strong back more. And high heels are not good for them. 馃檪
zombiex826-30, M
@bijouxbroussard Yea. That might be true. 馃憤
@zombiex8 In my case it was. All I have to do is compare to friends who lived in heels back in the day.
MrsKatherineArch41-45, F
I have a love/hate relationship with heels.
I love the way they look, but I hate how my feet feel after a few hours wearing them.
Butterflykisses2451-55, F
I wear converse mostly.Have two pairs of heels.Rarely wear them.
Starcrossed41-45, F

Me. I hate them now.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit26-30, F
I think they look nice on other women but I have reasons I choose not to wear them. Like enjoying the ability to walk. Not having sore feet, though someone may rub them. Flats I can run away in. I respect the ladies and gentlemen that love them and wear them well. I鈥檓 just not part of the club.
