Ladies, Do you FAKE your clothing size?

When we go into a shop, We hope the outfit will help us look smaller. The clerk asks our size. We sadly tell her and she brings an outfit ...and the tag clearly shows the size smaller than what we told her.
Are you more inclined to purchase it even tho to the size marker states a smaller number?
After all it does fit; and quite nicely.
I feel we have entered the Twilight Zone of instant weight loss.

If it doesn’t fit I get a bigger size. I don’t even care what she thinks of my size clothing. It’s my money and if I have to buy a bigger size then I will.

Smaller? Hell to the no, I'm small enough as is, I wanna get bigger. That's why I wear elevated boots all the time, I wanna be taller. And I'm already too skinny. I wanna gain some weight. Not a lot, but maybe five or ten pounds. Would do me wonders.

Fortunately I've never felt the need to do that. I take quite a small size but even when bigger it's not something that's ever bothered me

Sizes are not all uniform, they can differ with the make. That's why it's always better to try things on. It's not a case of faking your size at all. I'm quite petite and "One size fits all" rarely fits me, it's usually far too big.

I ask fr the real size, and if it fits it does and if it doesn't I don't buy it. Different brands and even some of the same brands may be bigger or smaller than what you would expect of that size.
No. Im only in denial about my bra size bc the bigger bras are so fucking ugly

@DarlingSelah I hate wearing a bra. And my pair are on the smaller size. Never more than a B Cup

Nope. I get what fits and since I buy pretty much everything secondhand no salesperson bugs me:)

Many stores actually ticket bigger sizes with smaller tags to make you feel better in them
Carla1951 · 70-79, F
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Really? Even if we seek a bit of "growing room?"
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
@Carla1951 yeah it is a stupid selling strategy
