My kid had one. She had to get an emergency appendectomy and before the surgery I had to remove the sucker from her nose. Needed a forcepts to unscrew the end. Just about twisted her nose off. Then, after she came to she wanted it back in. It had been her mom's. I tried and the nurse tried but we couldn't find the hole in the cartilage. Then she wanted her belly button ring in only to discover that the surgery was laproscopic and it was all bandaged. She just bawled!!!
