I Use a Menstrual Cup

What is the etiquette with these in public bathrooms ? i mean you empty them in the loo of course and i carry a 2nd one to replace with me, but is it ok to wash the used on in the sink ?
I think it's suggested to just empty, wipe it clean with tissue and reuse.
Personally I wouldn't rinse unless it we're a private, single stall restroom.

i clean em out with toilet paper and put em in a zip lock carry in my pack then clean em at home properly

you can carry a plastic bottle with some water to clean your cup in the stall
Times like this I'm sooooo glad to be a dude

And this is why I won't use them.

I am not grossed out by it..more that I don't feel the need to deal with the mess. This is why I don't use pads. A mess.

Unless you were absolutely going to ensure you don't leave blood remnants in/on the sink I would not clean it in a public bathroom. Just my thoughts.

@JaggedLittlePill I agree. I tried it once but didn't think it through. I did have a second cup but I couldn't figure out how I was going to get the other one clean. I ended up throwing it away because I was in a busy restroom and didn't want to gross anyone out. I got home and threw the other away. I went back to my tampons.

SW-User
@BlackBlossom eh probably better to wait until the bathroom is empty to clean it

I think you can read the user manual I'm not informed enough and mentain hygiene. Lack of hygiene is a risk factor. Be careful

It’s considered rude not to trick at least one person into taking a shot from it, according to Emily Post.
