I Am Not Fake, Neither Is My Profile

Fake people and online profiles are so much of a pain in the ass. I have known this person online who had been using a fake profile for 3 years (or more). She has so many followers and seems like all users from that site loves/likes her. She has a bubbly and silly personality. She's funny and easy to talk to. It is inevitable that you will develop friendships online and some might even "fall in love" with you. Then one day she got busted. People who treated her as a friend hated her for it. People started sending hate mails to her.

Friendships and trust has been shattered. You considered someone a friend for 3 years or more, you confided to her/him your problems, your innermost thoughts, you darkest secrets, then you will just discover that they are fake. Deception is addicting and I can't stomach it. Personally, I can't imagine building relationships, online and offline, where the foundation is of lies.

I'm here at EP to be real, to be me. My grammar sucks and I may not have the best stories and most intriguing experiences to share, but I'll always make sure that I'm honest all the time because after all our real lives are too short to entertain the idea of sustaining fake ones. :)
