When you message someone isn’t it polite to answer back?

It depends on what the initial message says.... typically I don't reply to messages that just say "hi", it's not enough for me to go on.

A lot of times I think I'm having a conversation with someone,and all of a sudden they stop responding/answering.They might be busy,but if someone takes time to message/look thru profile,I agree its rude to stop responding(w/o saying anything).

@ducksfan35 @ducksfan35 that happens to me all the time here. people suddenly stop answering even if we been talking a long time. and they never say good bye or give a reason for going quiet .

very few on here ever reply to being inboxed. and most of the ones that do only reply once then never again. others reply just a few times then never gain. only a very small number keep replying.
