I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
[quote]“The best among you is the one who doesn’t harm others with his tongue and hands.”[/quote]
[quote]"[u]The most beloved to me[/u] among you is the one who has the [u]best character[/u] and [u]manners[/u]."[/quote]
[quote]"The heaviest thing that will be placed on a person's balance on the day of judgement is his good manners and God hates the obscene, the immoral."[/quote]
Islam itself is entirely good character, so whoever surpasses us in character has surpasses us in religion. Good manners is a language seen by the blind and heard by the deaf.
I learned that being a good Muslim is not just about praying, fasting, and giving charity. It's also about being a good person, keeping a clean heart, having good manners, not judging others and always striving to be the best human being I can be. May God guide us all to be better people.
