I Like to Be Barefoot

I rarely go barefoot at home because my family doesn't go barefoot much, but I feel so much more comfortable without anything on my feet.

Same. I just feel far more at ease when my feet are bare. I like to feel the ground or even just the floor/carpet/tiles under my feet. I don't know what it is but as soon as my shoes come off I relax.

@Psychologykate It's a feeling of freedom. I feel the same way. I feel strange if I have to have shoes or socks on.

Me, too. I feel strange when I have to wear shoes and socks (mostly for work-type obligations). I am much happier and more comfortable when I am barefoot. It's my default.
