You don't have a "weird" condition. :) I don't have such urges, but that's probably because barefoot is the default for me unless there is some specific reason to wear shoes. During the summer I am barefoot regardless of the weather. It's the natural way to be and feels good too.

I know that urge very well and follow it whenever possible. I am an old man now, but loved being barefoot from my youth onwards. It is, as if the soil or fallen leaves and moss are calling me to touch them with my soles. But sometimes I even had a call to walk barefoot on asphalt in town.

It's not weird at all. I am the same way. In fact, the first time I ever went barefooted, I felt that same urge. I wanted to be barefooted, so I took off my shoes and socks, and have been a barefooter ever since!
