I Like to Be Barefoot

Haha so this morning I left the house with no shoes or socks on! It’s November, winter and cold... I didn’t care though I didn’t even realise I was barefoot until I got to work! So I’d got dressed, took the kids to school and arrived at work and thought huh where are my shoes.

Guess I’ll be barefoot today.

Bare feet are absolutely fine at work. You could leave the house and go to work in your bare feet regularly.
Most of the time my feet are bare at work.Easy to notice when I'm wearing short shorts.

I work for a construction contractor. I need to wear shoes in the office and our shop, but once I'm in my individual office, the shoes are off. When I leave the office, they come off again before getting into my car, and heading home. They get placed in the floor of the back seat, and that's where they stay, until the following morning.

Once though, when I got home, my wife needed us to go somewhere, and we took her car, so I pulled my shoes out of my car, and threw them in her car, and off we went. When I got home, I had my hands full, including carrying my shoes, once in the house, I tossed them next to the door and left them there.

That next day, I drove the almost 30 miles to my office, reached into the backseat, and realized my shoes were still at home, where I left them the night before!

I wasn't going back home to get them, and since the owner of the business was out of town that week, I just walked in barefoot, and stayed that way for the entire day. Some of my co-workers took the opportunity to mess with me a little, but it was all in good nature.

I'm thinking of "accidentally" leaving them home again sometime, sell see.

Can't say as I've ever "forgotten". I'm pretty aware of being barefoot. I almost always leave the house barefoot. If I'm in my car, I have flip-flops in the car, but don't put them on unless necessary. I used to work in an office that was accepting of me going barefoot. I would hook my flip-flops onto my backpack, but walked in barefoot and stayed that way. Nothing like being barefoot all the time!

hope your nails were done lol

Great, I always try to be barefoot as much as I can, even when it's cold. If you're ok with that, go away and don't care about what other people will think!
BarefootMum · 46-50, F
@ronaldomoreira Agreed! I love being barefoot

Is your little Eliza still allowed to go to school in bare feet?
BarefootMum · 46-50, F
@QuietSophie Not at the moment because of the cold weather but come March time she’ll be attending barefoot I’m sure. I struggle to keep shoes on her.
