I Always Say Im OK Even When Im Not

I wish I could be the person who says
‘you know what, I’m not ok’. However it is not in me. Call it a fear of being weak, idk.
Or a refusal of others sympathy and pity, again idk. But I just can’t admit it.

You obviously are possessed by that terrible condition: You are human.

At different times and situations in our lives we protect ourselves from the things that wound us.

One of my inspirations is Byron Katie. She has a wonderful way of helping folks like ourselves to be OK with who we are. One of her questions made a big difference in my life:

"Who Would You Be Without Your Story?"

Her work is on You Tube and the net, at no cost, if you care to check it out.

I'm pretty much the same way. I'm always reaching out trying to help people while I'm dying inside.

🤗 Same! You get so used to just saying you're 'ok' regardless of how you really feel.

@JerseyGal So very true, it just slips out with out thought. 🤗

People wouldn't ask unless they felt that something was off .... we're not that invisible.

Yep and sometimes it's better like that because people ask annoying questions... Too

Internal fear will do this.
Fear such as :
Fear of rejection
Fear of failure
Fear of been alone
Then build up your worth of self, your inner anchor. Also forgive your self for all the times you have let you down.
