I Am Not Fake My Profile Is Real And My Pics Are Really Me

I do understand why people may not show themselves or at least all of themselves here. That's how I was when on was on EP years ago. My life was different then. Since then I've felt like I've been hiding in life. I'm 44 living on my own for the first time and not wanting to hide anymore. I'm proud of myself for all I've accomplished but I am lonely. I would like to make connections with caring people. So....yeah my profile/page whatever is me.

Not everyone can be brave in their life places and circumstances and be themselves online. Or not completely themselves. But I guess those like you are luckier in that they don't need the filters. Filters are draining. Necessary evil almost. I wish for you that you celebrate and enjoy this time when you can be just you..

@DIMaverick4 very liberating yes.ive been there having to watch myself hide myself keep thoughts and opinions to myself. It's suffocating and painful.

@SW-User I have tried hard to be that liberated .. and yet honestly there are phases I do curb myself. There are times when I just stay quiet. As I age I realize in this hyper connected and hyper expressive world, not many care for your thoughts. Many are just trying to hear what they want. Not necessarily what you are saying. Yet, bottling that all up is actually toxic.
