I think it looks pretty, especially how you did the middle part of the flower. I think watercolors are hard. My daughter is an artist, she says you have to layer the paint. I don't have the patience for that though. Like let it dry then apply again and again.

The first thing that strikes me is the choice of colour, you have an eye for it or (like me) you don't. My brother is a professional artist and my 8 year old granddaughter, both have that ability, so forget the smudges and enjoy the colour.

I could show you my attempts at working with water color pens...if you need a laugh.

Never look at anything as finished

I like what you were going for with the drawing tho. Plus, you can always try again with water colors. Especially now you know not to use ink with water colors. 🙂🌻💛
