I Talk Too Much Without Thinking

That is a difficult skill to master .. and often resulted in my kids being disciplined .. .. learning when it's ok to speak freely and when it is not has served them well as adults .. .. My oldest daughter resently thanked me for teaching her that .. ..

At work it almost cost me my carear after I spoke openly in my first meeting with the seniour executives .. .. My boss was not pleased and told me he doubted I would be invited again .. .. a week later I was called to his office .. it turns out all of the otber ideas had failed and he wanted to know if I thought my plan would really work .. .. what was initally seen as an off the wall uninformed stupid joke was now a brilliant outside the box solution .. ..

Just be careful how much you stifle what you say ... ...

Sometimes the best thing to do,is to carefully think about what you say.Largely depends on who you are with.Some people cannot take a joke,or the truth,so until you're sure,respect peoples boundaries
