I Want to Be Positive About Life

I do. I want to be the person I was in my twenties who innocently embraced life and everything connected to it. However, my knowledge of how this planet ticks over has given that youthful positivity a good battering with a baseball bat. I am still positive at the basic, individual level, but knowing that a handful of powerful and greedy people will destroy the planet sooner than later gives me despair for the future and for the well being of our kids.
