@SW-User You are living on feelings and not on faith. Believe me we all go through this. On the other side of this 'crisis' you will have gained a whole lot of new insights into yourself, your relationship with Christ and your understanding of Christianity. If you have not been tested you are not one of His.

@hippyjoe1955 This is true . I find myself going back and forth with this . It's like a tug of war between my heart and my mind . The reason I do believe God is,real is that I sense he wants me to go to him but I'm like this stubborn and angry child who won't listen to their Father..I question everything and trust no one because of old wounds being reopened..but yes overcoming my feelings are a constant struggle for me..

@SW-User They are for us all. You will soon learn how to test the spirits and so will grow that much more as you discern what is of God and what is not.

@SW-User We all do. Your suffering is certainly not unique. Look at Jesus in the garden the night He was betrayed and read His prayer. He didn't want to do God's will either if there was a way around it.

@SW-Usersome people think life is holy. Spinoza for one. Some people think God is everywhere and they don't just mouth it.

Some guys got burned at the state for knowing God is everywhere and in everything. And I for one agree that if God (potential for holy actions) is not everywhere than God is nowhere.

Is God about WHO GETS TO SAY THE TRUTH ABOUT IT?

And this stuff should not be about "habit". That strikes me as evil. Where consciousness is absent that's where the evil creeps in.

That good. By looking at things impartially from both sides, you're better placed to sort the wheat from the chaff. Beware those who claim you have to have faith, once you start down that path it can be difficult to return to reality.
