I Am Struggling Financially

Usually I can just about tie the knots if I live as cheaply as possible, but last month was extremely expensive. I had to go to a hospital on the other side of the country and needed new shoes that are custom made. That was two big expenses that only happen once a year, but fell in the same month this time. Farewell, savings account... Thank god for health insurance though. Otherwise those two things would have bankrupted me.

Sometimes choosing meds over eating good isn't fun been having lots of ramen noodle nights

@Justgettingby: Well you're living the student life in Sweden then I guess. Noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will be alright, continue working hard 🤗

Healthcare insurance in the USA is still horrible too. I'm glad to be living in the Netherlands. :)

I'm ashamed to say that health care is expensive and incompetent in the US. It was much more affordable before the affordable healthcare act 😒

@Justgettingby: I have no experience with such things. I will take your word for it.

Just don't move to the US for excellent health care

@Justgettingby: I believe the quality is pretty good, but you'll need to take a lot of money to use it from what I've heard.

@Plobey: And healthcare in sweden is "free" but is pretty poor
SW-User
@MartinTheFirst: That's not a great situation either.
