I Have Been Betrayed By Friends
Knew All Along... I have been betrayed by friends, but I knew it all along. Though I was desperate and lonely enough to leave it be and feign ignorance.
Robert and Ryan. My best friends during high school. They made me feel like one of the guys and I would've done anything for them. They knew it, too.
The entire time they were only using me to get close to my sister, though. It has happened many times before, and I saw it straight away. But I needed them. I needed a friend that was not in my mind. So I went along with it, knowing that one day they will throw me away. And that they did.
Being a willing participant in that torture, I have to wonder... was it all worth it?
