I am visiting my aunt in my mothers village. The village I posted about in my previous post with the picture of the Amalfi Coast.
I am visting my aunt which has recently left hospital. She is not at all well.
I'm sittimg infront of my aunts fire place. So, so many memories are flooding me right now while I am listening to the crackling, spitting, flames.
The heat and the smell of the smoke literally, but literally are sending me way back in time to my childhood memories of vacations in my mothers village above the Amalfi drive.
God it feels so good to be here.
