I Spend a Lot of Time By Myself

I'm sitting at the back of the restaurant away from everyone watching them interact. These two guys have seated themselves close to me and I'm trying to avoid eye contact because I really don't want to be bothered. One just asked why am I sitting all alone. Duh!!! Isn't it obvious! Now they both want to talk and all I want to do is scream leave me the hell alone! Oh well I guess I'll be nice and chat with them. 😒

I am alone all day long, except for my dog, Lucy, and the person who lives in the apartment in our basement, Chris, who I seldom see during the day anyway. Even though I am married to a wonderful woman (who works... I'm retired) when she is home I am still alone... in the emotional sense. So maybe I can understand your situation. Or maybe not, I guess. You be the judge.

Well, not being a woman, it isn't obvious to them nor me, as I am not a woman. So, would you tell me why you are alone, when obviously these two guys think you are something special, and I am pretty sure you are too.
