Many says asia's horror are scariest and America's horror are bad. Well not entirely the truth. NOT ALL asia's horror are scary. Most of the time Asia's horror lacks originality, they often have similar story lines and ending. And America's horror are not bad, perhaps if you realise, America's horror graphics are of High definition, which bring you a "Too Clear, Too Bright" pictures. It lacks that sense of old and mysterious atmosphere which Asia's horror brings to you. America's horror also have too much conversation, too much conversation in a horror brings you a clear story about what is happening. They also use too much instrumental music bringing too much emotion into the movie instead of bringing the "fears" they should have. Asia's horror graphic are kind of dim and old, they like to use dull colours as background settings, such as brown white black grey and lime green etc. Asia's horror have minimal conversation, they usually make use of the human facial expression to give you guesses about what's happening, and then gives you a jump scare when you're unaware (probably thinking what the story is about). They like to use weird chreographed midi music to bring to you a weird, disgusted feeling, which is why asia horror are topped as the most scariest ever. Well, this is purely my opinion. I love horror. I only go to cinemas when theres a new horror movie. Haha.. However I list a few which i feels brings the real fear out of you. Always watch the original of the film, the remake usually sucks. And not all sequels are entirely good. Like the resident evil franchise, I'm totally disappointed. The sequel gotten more & more irrelevant to the original Resident Evil plot in the recent episode. However the first chapter is always worth a watch if you love zombies. Child's play, my favourite. Watch it like when I was four and I totally love it. Same thing, I don't like the sequel of Child's Play. But first chapter is worth a watch. Japanese film, like Ringu and Ju-On watch the original Japan made film. The remake, sadly to say, sucks! If you have any really good horror, don't mind to share it too. (:
