I Had A Dream

My reason for making this account is mostly to see if anyone can make sense of it. In the title I have mentioned two different places, although both are generally within the European continent. This is because this entry involves two dreams that occurred within a few days of each other and feel connected somehow. They are certainly similar in that they involve images I have never seen, but somehow constructed in my mind. The first dream was, very simply, an image of a massive mountain range. Each peak was snow-capped and the sun from behind my vantage made the mountain-sides an almost tan color. There were a couple thin clouds slipping between the peaks of a few mountains. It was a peaceful sight, but I kept thinking in my mind as I was asleep, almost like someone speaking to me, the words: Ural Mountains. Even when I was awake, I could not get the words out of my mind. I had to write the dream down, otherwise, the words would not leave me alone. I have no idea what was so important, or is so important, about the Ural Mountains. My only knowledge of them is that they exist, and they are the often-debated natural border between Europe and the Asian continent. It was nothing more than those words; no country, no city, nothing but the Ural Mountains in general.

The second dream, just this past night/morning, involved me being at Pompeii. It was modern times, or close to it, and it was nighttime. I could see the mountain, opened up after its eruption in the past. From my vantage, which seemed like it was out in the sea, I was looking at some lava that had long cooled and hardened. It was coming from some sort of crevice in the mountain. As I watched, I saw the lava start to glow and melt. Then, I saw fresh lava flow over it, heading for the sea. There were a few trees in its path that caught fire as the lava passed. The lava cast a yellowish-orange light into the night sky. I knew when I saw it flowing that, soon, Vesuvius would erupt again. Whatever that means or whatever the Ural Mountains dream means, I don't know. I just hope nothing bad comes of it.
