You know, I've seen a lot of stuff about racism and antisemitism

And those are problems, don't get me wrong. But you know which group are pretty much routinely treated like crap and viewed negatively by most of the population and treated like second class citizens?

Roma. Also known as Gypsies.

Even after the Porajmos (the Roma Holocaust of WW2), they're treated like crap, segregated from society and in the Czech Republic were forcefully sterilised until recently.

When are we finally going to start doing something about Anti-Ziganism (prejudice against Roma)?

@DarkHeaven I'm well aware. I have Nahuatl ancestry on my dad's side. I'm not claiming no other group has it bad. Far from it.

All I'm saying is just that Roma have been treated by Europeans like they're less than human for around a thousand years and few seem to care.

There was a case in Italy where two Roma children drowned and Italian beachgoers didn't even bother to help and just watched cause the kids were Romani.

@basilfawlty89 I think there’s much similar with natives. The reservations are horrible. They are kept in squalor, isolated, and largely uneducated. It’s a travesty. I have friends who have relatives still in federal prison for the revolt at wounded knee. Even when they try to rise up, they are beaten back down again.
