I Went Barefoot To School

I wiggle my toes too when my feet are comfortable and happy 🙂 I am glad your school has this rule - it is far safer and healthier if all girls go barefoot 😊

Barefoot is ok but sometimes it's very cold!

We did gymnastics and dance in bare feet. We also had to take off our shoes and socks for drama . . and we sometimes finished the lesson with grubby feet because they rarely cleaned the floor 😟

I absolutely loved being able to go barefoot for P.E, had the same problem with the dirty floor though!

Ditto for my school in indoor PE lessons. To be able to ditch my footwear and free my feet, giving them a breather from constricting school shoes on the days we did indoor PE. Wriggling my toes in those lessons was a joy, and much anticipated by myself, and those of my classmates who also chose to experience PE this way☺

Bare feet for PE is cool! I used to love lessons in the gym without shoes and socks on 🤗

Primary and middle schools were choice of footwear, at secondary it was bare feet primarily and always for gymnastics.
