I meet People everyday who are Depressed

There has always been depression. But this year more than most. Tonight I met a guy outside a shop. He has depression and he told me his life story and asked me mine. And I know depression cannot be snapped out of and I don't know what to do but put my arms around you and hug you tight but I may not.

Hugging works for me. It wont cure the depression, but it's a small step to help remind myself I'm valued by someone.

Any kind of talking helps. Doesn't have to be about the actual illness or the symptoms.
