I Believe Love Is Very Powerful

I've never bought into the idea that you have to love yourself before you can love or be loved by others. I think that loving yourself helps to make it easier to love other and to let them love you, but I also think that loving others and being loved by others helps make it easier to love yourself. Love begets love, as long as there are no toxic people involved, no matter what the nature of that love is.
