I Love to Laugh

It makes me feel happy, yes...

But will someone do me a favor and educate that screamer on the fifth floor?

The first time I heard her let loose, I thought she was being attacked or maybe attempted murder. Her unit is across the courtyard from me, directly into my front window. I am deathly afraid the wrong person is going to hear her one night and the Oak Park police are going to investigate...and there is nobody in the lobby after a certain hour to answer the complaint.

I have yelled "Shut UP!" out my front window. Last Sunday, I was waiting at the front lobby door for my grocery delivery and David. The woman in question was sitting in the lobby around the corner, talking to some of the others in her unit. Suddenly, she reacted to something one of them said and she screamed/laughed? so hard, she broke into coughing for several minutes...with no mask, either.

I sent a complaint to management...and got a reply asking which unit it is and a description of the girl (I didn't see her before last Sunday, but I sure HEARD her!)

Come up to my unit, Natalie and Margie. You can see the "widow's walk" across the way from my front window. If we're lucky, we'll all hear her go off again.

Yikes that sounds frightful.

@JoePourMan It's worse when you hear it. Last night. her and her SO were going at it well after eleven PM and woke me out of a sound sleep. I moved in here four months ago, and the first time I heard the scream, I thought he either hit her or she stepped on something that bit her. I know her by sight but not by name. Thanks for commenting.
