Christmas Fruit Cake Recipe - Whisky Drinkers Special... I should have posted this before Xmas but I know ul get a laugh. I got this from a friend, & fell over laughing reading it.

The ingredients are as follows: 1 cup of water, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 Bottle whisky, 2 cups dried fruit, 8oz nuts, lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, 4 large eggs & 8oz butter.

And this is the best bit:
Sample the whisky to check for quality
Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again, to be sure its the highest quality, pour another cup to make sure & drink, repeat!
Turn on the electric mixer, & sample the whisky again. Beat 2oz of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one tsp of sugar & beat again. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Cry another tup. Turn off the mixerer. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Break 2 bowls and add to the eggs and chuck in the dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the dried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the whisky again to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two sups of calt or something. Who cares? Check the whisky.
Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven.
Turn the cake to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl out the window. Check the whisky again and go to bed.
Next day, take three aspirins and go to Marks and Spencer. Buy Christmas fruit cake!
