I Had a Creepy Experience

I work at a hotel as night audit, as the name implies it is a night shift. There is a security guard here during night hours.
At some point I went outside to sit and smoke(bad habit, I'm aware) when a car drove by me, stopped, and snapped a picture of me. Then spend out of the parking lot.
Later, I was chatting with the security guard and the person training me when the phone rings. I answer with the regular phone greeting.
A man speaking very slowly and in an unnervingly calm way says hello and apologizes if he was interrupting me while i was with a guest since I am working the front desk. Nothing super weird yet, I assure him he is not interrupting and ask how I can help. He says you never know, sometimes you can be quite an inconvenience. He then asks me if I enjoy shopping at Victoria's Secret. It caught me off guard so i said "I'm sorry, what?" He continues saying he isn't trying to sell me anything and just wants to know if I'm familiar with the store Victoria's Secret(a popular lingere store). I asked him if he had any questions related to the hotel and he hung up.
Very strange. I am the only female in the building at night. Even more strange, the number he called from showed the hotel's phone number. The phone number you dial to ring the front desk. Sketchy to say the least. The security guard now refuses to let me go anywhere alone, which I do appreciate.

No point to the story, just thought I'd share.

You should report that to your boss. Then report it to HR at the upper level. Something is going on. The security guard is right by escorting you around.

HR doesn't care, my boss said to stay with security. I don't work there anymore though so its fine. @bhatjc

@GlitterBugThat is good you have left.

That would be going up the chain of management so that those in charge of you knew. Your life isn’t worth a job.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
It definitely is not. I will be speaking to my boss about it. @Pfuzylogic

@GlitterBug That is the absolute best thing that you can do!

You should record it secretly..at least audio for safety purposes
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
I believe all calls are recorded for liability purposes, I'll mention the call to my boss and see what he says. @midnightsun
