Google has gone backwards
used to help you find things you wanted to know, now it helps things that want to find you do so.

it no longer helps you find things that are true or accurate but instead helps find things that are popular or well advertised.

I use duck duck go now
Or, Google Scholar, only published academic papers.

@plaguewatcher Hmm.. it's a cause of coincedence. I actually meant 'farfetchedness'. So I translated the wrong word (from Dutch). I was thinking of the Beatles after 'Help!. Changed the name today.
