I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story

"Loving Her Was Easy"

I listened to them celebrate. Wacca was the most joyous. And Auron. I wanted to be happy. Happy for them-and for me. Ha! Who knew! Me, a guardian. A ex blitz player guarding a woman I had come to adore and whose plight I felt deeply for. If only the others besides her knew that. Lulu was smart. She knew but would never admit it. This celebration was a happiness that was not coming to me.

I didn’t belong here. Not with them. Not as a guardian. I belonged in Zanarkand- MY Zanarkand. The one I got strange looks from every time I spoke it.. Damn it- it was real. It is real! And it is my world- where I belong- crappy childhood and all. Blitz was what I knew- not guarding a legend. Oh–how I wanted to make my old man pay for so much- then- and now. Sin or not he was my father- and I wanted him to suffer for what he did.

“Wacca says he’s eating your share if you don’t get your ass over here” That comment was following by a soft kick to the skins and smile. It was Yuna. She slightly slid her soft hand down my temple to my chin- her fingertips lightly grazing my skin .

“You hurt. I can feel it. Still missing home? She paused a second before beginning again. "You know this journey will take me far from my home as well. And I do not know if I’ll ever get back. So...I’m kinda like you. And I may be more scared that anyone.” She puts her fingers to her lips. “But I just can’t admit that. No one wants a weak Summoner. What if Braska is watching from the skies?“

Again with that smile- and a snide look from our dark mage who seemed to be watching.

“Let’s go!! You’re my date for the rest of this celebration. Don’t let anyone bring you down. I have said so.” And with that she giggled and led me away. Away from the rock outcropping I was on overlooking Macalania.

She was like that. Always knowing the right thing to say. And the right time to say it. There was salvation in her. At least for me.

And in the end I had hoped the same salvation would be for all at her hands.

A most creative write with the fantasy nature. The overall ending & true intended message for the writing( I'm assuming), was sweet..that's a story worth continuing!
@SW-User It's an RPG-A role playing game. And a very good one at that!

In the game he muses a lot like I did as my write was something he MAY have said in the game. Needless to say he does need salvation-but so does humanity and the existence of all. And if Yuna can provide it-- well let's just not give any spoilers away. The open dialogue in italics is what he may have said to the gamer.

You write so well. 🥰
@Peaches Thank You. I loved writing this as I find Tidus easy to write as.
