I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story

Victoria's Secret

This is about a dear saleswomen who was more than just that. She was a friend and one I cared for deeply. She transferred, a step up, to a store 22 miles further away form what she was. I went to see her at her new locations. Tear were shed and hugs shared. She just had a way of making every customer feel special. A lot like I did when I worked lingerie! This is a bit of a remembrance of her as I do wish her well.

If I was male,(I'm not) and half my age--I'd have been chasing after her....

[c=#BF0080]Beaming like the sun.
As cheerful as can be.
She could sell a gold bar
To a Pauper.
So delightful was she.

Greeting one and all.
Like a dawn unto a day.
Soon she has us slipping
Into sexy lingerie.

Her sparkling eyes, her
Sunny smile, disp'ld for one and all.
She'd have us feeling loved.
From Winter to next Fall.

She'd size us up and size us down
And n'ere lead us astray.
Of course she'd make a sale! (as if!)
In exchange she'd make our day!

Now she is gone,the store
Seems dead, the smiles have went away.
Delighted we are no more, as
Her secret left today.

Oh she can be found at another store,
Or "location", as they say.
Her radiant Heart and the love
She gave is what I'll miss always.[/c]

When you find a person in a store (especially one that is specialized like VC), you hope they stay forever. I have found some that are very helpful and others who point and say, "Over There". Hope she knows how special she makes your trips
@ReneeT When I worked for VS, about 7 years ago. after our on-boarding,( orirntation) we were told "we would develop a fan club". Most laughed but it was true. We would have customers that came in asked specifically FOR us!

She will be missed and you are correct in your assessment!

@Elandra77 I work part time at a local store now and I have found that there are some who come in and ask for me. It does make me feel really good.

This is so sweet. It's amazing how certain people make that lasting impression. She probably didn't/doesn't realize the impact she made in anyone's day. I'm sure she'd love to read your beautiful tribute too...
@SW-User If I had a way to get it to her I would share it. We share no networking ties that I know of and I am NOT a facebookian!

She knows now how special she is as I told her-and I believe I spoke for others as well. 'Tis a shame but life goes on.

@Elandra77 I don't blame you on Facebooking. Lol😁

What a lovely tribute to her, I hope you will share it with her some how.
@pennynoodles Thank You so much. I am not sure how she would take it. I need some days to think on this. I think this move had to be emotionally hard on her and now may not be the right time...but there may be a time...Thanks. again. I am glad you enjoyed this.
Lovely words from the heart, as usual, Elandra! 😘
@Vivaci Thank You very much! Over the years I got to know her rather well. When I had a secret to tell, I told her. It was sweet reunion but one I cannot do all that often. Glad you read this!
@Elandra77 I can totally relate to such a charming personality. I'm glad you went to visit her, although saying goodbye might have been difficult for both of you friends. 💞🤗🤗🤗

so very cheerful and a great tribute to your friend 🤗
@SailingSlow Once in a while I do post a fun and cheerful post! Thanks for reading me and of what she meant to me ---and to so many others as they also have talked after they learned she left. N'ere was a bad word spoken!

I love this.
@Fungirlmmm Thank You. this came rather easy as it's oft easy to write of the heart in a good way! I was at her old store today. hardly any business and those who worked there were not REALLY making an effort to connect with potential customers. Her transfer will hurt this location.
