I Hate Animal Cruelty [I Am Against Animal Cruelty]

This is the name of one of the associations in my country that work to alleviate a little the damage others do.
Galgos ( Greyhound doggies) have been living a very bad situation in my country for a long time. They are pretty used by hunters and some of this hunters throw the doggies away when they are too old for being used or have a wound...I'm not gonna describe the condictions many of them are found. Only an example, some of them are found hanged up in trees.
My country is at the top of abandomed doggies in Europe. That says a lot of a country. I know even we received help from another countries to adopt Galgos. For example, Germany.
I would like to write this post as a way to thank people who in one or another way help in this matter.
Animal cruelty is atrocious. The long tradition in animal abuse here has made me often ashamed of my country too. Fortunately, things are starting to change, at least it seems laws are harder now towards those who abuse animals. But some people's mentalities are hard to change.
@Cierzo: Yes. I also think that things are changing, but it's hard how some people need to be taught the obvious. That making another living being suffering is bad. Cierzo, luckily, there are many people who think like you as well.
