I Hate Animal Cruelty [I Am Against Animal Cruelty]

I came across a video on Instagram showing this lobster holding itself up by its claws over a pan of boiling water.

Let me clarify how to be more humane in cooking a lobster.

Background info:
When a lobster dies it’s flesh starts to produce a toxic bacteria, by boiling it alive it minimizes the chance of this bacteria multiplying rapidly. Yes you can kill a lobster before cooking but you must eat that killed-cooked lobster within a short time span.

If you don’t want to risk it, but you don’t like the ihumane way of boiling it alive; there are scientific studies that show if you ice a lobster for 15 or more minutes it reduces the amount of pain the lobster endures.

How do they tell this? Lobsters twitch their tail when they’re in pain, like a flight or fight response they want to get away.
The icing method shows the shortest time span of tail twitching.

Myth:
Slowly bringing the water to a boil acclimates the lobster to the water so they feel no pain.
^ this method shows the most and longest time span of tail twitching.

I'm not sure how to respond...I don't like animal cruelty, but I believe Homo Sapiens have evolved to eat meat & vegies. Killing animals to eat them is inevitable, but doing it without inflicting undo pain & fear seems reasonable. How about vegies? They too are living things and some studies indicate they have some level of awareness.
What to do???

People boil crabs the same cruel way. It's so cold-hearted! I don't eat either one. I've tried to convince myself their brains are too primitive to feel pain.

@Cloud7593 they both feel pain, they produce cortisol, the same hormone we produce when we’re in pain. On some level they do feel and understand pain. I’ve never eaten them and I don’t plan on it, I won’t support such cruelty.

No, me either. I feel guilty just for eating meat.
