I'd Rather Have A Few Close Friends Than Many Acquaintances

A friend and former coworker described it best when she said that I'm a "very personal person" - whenever I start getting to know someone, I naturally move toward greater and greater connection with them. I reveal more and more parts of myself, and don't miss a beat if and when they do the same. I don't do it with everyone, in fact I usually keep up a lot of distance in the beginning, but if you're someone I want to connect with, then once that door starts to open - I'm going to dive through.
