I Absolutely Love the Ocean

When we lived in America I used to love going to the sea as a little girl and bathing in sea. It was nice and warm. When we got to England the first time we went to the sea I went in expecting it to be warm and it was freezing. So I'm not too keen on it over here. It's like going in an ice bath.

Where I live in America, if you're in the ocean, without protection, hypothermia will start setting in about 10 minutes.

@americanmeg: It doesn't bother me. Plenty of warm('ish) lakes in the summer, and when I get an urge to be in the ocean, I put on a dry suit and go SCUBA diving :-)

Haha... Same in Canada, and I was coming from South America... Even in super hot days the water is FREEZING, no matter what... 😔

I am thinking you were near Florida? Somewhere on the east coast. The water is pretty cold on the west coast.
