I Absolutely Love the Ocean

I had a holiday with my parents when I was twenty on the west coast of France, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sea, the Atlantic Ocean.

Before this holiday we had always gone to the Med.

I have been to Biarritz surfing ... god the waves there are amazing, that is classic ocean... and I have been to La Rochelle and L'Ile de Re and a fishing village called St Jean de Mont, I like France and I like French food too.

It's nice... we stayed in St Martin for a couple of nights, also amazing beaches. And I read somewhere there about that horrible flooding and when loads of houses were flooded by a storm@Stambouli

My rents sent me to stay with their friends just outside St Jean de Mont.... that was when I was 19 and I had to stay there for a week - they had a boy slightly older than me and a girl who was 17 and it was awful. The girl was basically on either facebook or her fone 24/7, and the boy just starred at me. I'm not joking. He was freaky.....god it was grim. Anyway I used to cycle into St Jean de Mont and chatted to the fishermen and they gave me those strong French ciggies.... they made me cough but I felt terribly kewl smoking. That was the only time I have ever smoked in my life... that week.

It is lovely to sit on the shore or walk along the water line and just take in the peace and wonderful enjoyment of the water lapping on the shore and to sit and read a good book or just totally relax and take in the scenery , good for you.
