I Like Older Men

To answer a common, yet frequently asked question.. The answers rank as follows:

1. Maturity - Yes the common belief may not be true for all.. But it usually is for some, especially when they have no issues with being themselves. And they are extremely handy around the house. Ask a younger male to fix something, and what response do you get? “Hang on babe. Let me check YouTube/Google..”. Ask an older gentleman? He just rolls up his sleeves, and the rest is history 🏆

2. Sophistication - How many Distinguished older gentlemen have you seen trying to squeeze themselves into skinny jeans and gaudy graphic t-shirts, blather on about video games, dwell in their parents’ basement, and play absurd pranks on the women they’re interested in the hopes of garnering attention? None.. Alright, moving on.

3. Dominance - Nothing sexier than a skilled, yet fearless and assertive older gentleman who isn’t afraid to show it. They value the art of the chase, and have honed their craft well. They are seldom awkward, often loquacious with a wealth of interesting topics to discuss, and tend to avoid the abhorrent “Netflix and Chill” trend like the plague. They are upfront with what they want and know how to demand it like a true man.

4. The ability to Prioritize - I’ve witnessed this between my grandparents growing up, and yes this is an essential skill necessary for survival. If you have to decide between paying the utilities on time or splurging on some sort of game/action figure.. Then I am not the woman for you.

5. Intellect - Self explanatory and linked to the first reason. They carry quite a substantial amount of wisdom as well as common sense. Why? Because they have lived long enough to develop it. They have experienced quite a bit from life, both good and bad, and who doesn’t enjoy a little complexity? I don’t have much patience for anything other than, especially for the purpose of carrying a decent conversation. I only save text speak for humor, and that is it. Also having manners, or any form of respect, seems to be a good indicator. Chivalry is not dead, guys.. At least not with me. I will not be upset if you wish to pull my chair out or hold the door open. I’m not a “Bra-Burner” by any means..

6. Appearance - I’m not a pedophile, so a fully shaven body is not going to do it for me. And unnaturally dyed hair doesn’t work either- Let me see that grey. I prefer the male body as God intended- A spruce beard, occasionally some stubble if necessary, arms and legs covered, a full carpet of chest hair, and some on the groin (But a cleared spot for intimacy.. I’m not trying to floss with pubes). Also, clothing that fits properly. From a well fitting pair of jeans and tshirt/button-down to some slacks and a turtleneck or crew sweater.. It’s the classics that still get the job done. Still clueless as to what I’m talking about? See the 50s, 60s (Maybe a little of the 80s) for a reference. “The Rat Pack” for the sake of brevity. Italian mafioso... Those men knew how to dress.. So carry on, gentlemen..

Of course there are more reasons to list, but alas here are my top values.. If you know me, you’ll know I’m never one to lay all of my cards out for plain view. Where’s the fun in that? Enjoy, dislike, ‘piss and moan’ about it ( As I’m expecting the dreaded Rainbow Riding “I can be any gender I want” SJWs’ to do because the current cultural climate is taking a SERIOUS nosedive right now).. Or, use it to your advantage. I don’t care.
Peace 🍷

But they look like shit naked, can’t socialise past midnight and although they have the knowledge to please a woman they haven’t got the energy to deliver. Just my experience though 😊

@SirenCalledLuce I sleep from 2am to 7 am.... I run circles around my kids my stamina will kick any 20 somethings ass
ap199 · 51-55, M
@SirenCalledLuce she will sleep till noon while you are up 5am taking care of Business. Priorities! Someone the 20 something crowd has not figured out. And i coach Saturday mornings for a few months in a row. Out the door at 7:30am to prepare bright each Saturday morning. 20 somethings don’t do things for anyone, so they sleep in taking care of themselves. They don’t get it because that are in a place i their lives where the only thing that matters is making some shit money at a crappy job and spending it all at the bars and on rent and a used car payment. When they turn 30, the light bulb goes on they are not kids anymore. Need a career not a job. Need to retire someday. Others may depend on you, so it’s no longer all about you. But those who find balance between adulting and partying are those who really end up happy. Those who find it in their 20s are even better. I worked hard and played hard all through my 20s and 30s until kids. Now I have a lot of sacrifice. But there’s still balance. Just dumped a 24 year old who totally didn’t get it. I know there are 20 somethings out there that get it. I was one. There are others.

The first point is what I like about getting older. Not from any great skill or talent on my part but just from practice and experience, I am just so much better at doing things now. Everything seems so easy and I don't get that stressed about anything.
AlienZipper · 61-69, M
The Rat Pack exuded timeless class and style.

I wish fedoras would make a comeback. Something very elegant, yet manly, about them.

What a great post as an older gentleman it's good to see that maturity is appreciated by some.
Pawan · 31-35, M
Even those qualities might be present in younger men too you only need to find your right partner, by choosing older men why you wanna spoil some older women life because most older men might be married or in a relationship
RedRhapsody · 31-35, F
@Pawan I’ll raise an even better question.. Did I say anything about dating one if he was married? And why comment at all if this has absolutely nothing to do with you in any way? People like whatever they like, get used to it. And in this case, I’m not interested in dating men within my range and prefer someone older than I. And not all older men are married, as some prefer the ease of causal relationships. I grew tired of the questions being asked, and wrote a post to answer them. Hence the purpose of this site; to serve as an outlet. The same goes for my “About me”. Which happens to be doing an excellent job at getting my message across. So either accept it or don’t, and move on with your life. Because there isn’t a damn thing that is going to change it. So don’t worry about me finding my ideal partner. I can handle that without your input.
Pawan · 31-35, M
@RedRhapsody you absolutely sounded like an old disturbed lady, me can only say to such ladies is sorry auntie for disturbing you
RedRhapsody · 31-35, F
@Pawan Then why bother in the first place?

@shyuncut4u I can’t.. Anything beyond, and attachment can become rather painful due to the onset of health issues and approaching mortality.
