I Like Older Men

LOL Horace i was gonna heart you but for the comment about me :P No not a cynic.. a realist and at the end of the day it doesnt matter how many lovely young women we see on here playing up to the oldies.. in real life most of the said old farts cannot get a young woman for love nor money.. It is also true, worldwide that with much older and much younger relationships there is way MORE likely for there to be an element of control, manipulation etc. Thats not to say that some relationships don't work.. my last bf was 21 years younger than me but there remains that danger of one being controlling.. Generally relationships with a large age gap dont work, generally the woman *grows up* and wants a man with more life and energy and the man wants a woman who he can talk to and relate to and who isnt immature... but the main point is.. most of the older men looking for younger women arent looking to have her for a relationship.. it's an ego boost and using her.. some women are happy with that.. IF they get money, comfort, trips etc from it.. others find they have fallen for the older man who just has and never had any intention of wanting more than a lay from her and something to impress his friends with.

IF this were really a young girl and were for real yes she would have a zillion men at her doorstep.. she might be very disappointed but that isn't the point here.. you poor hopefuls drooling and lusting don't stand an earthly ANY woman who wants an older guy doesnt have to ask.. doesnt have to advertise.. there are billions of you just begging.. falling over themselves to be the one chosen.. but NO ONE was chosen... no one was answered..
When will you learn.. if it looks too good to be true it IS.. you just make yourself look silly.. you open yourselves to ridicule.. and no I am not doing that.. you are doing it to yourselves...

Day Dreamer...I was kidding about the cynic part. I would agree with you in general.

the biggest age spread in my experience was 10 years. I had a gf that was 10 years younger than me. And she was the old fart compared to me.

But I typically end up with women who are close to my age as a gf. It's far easier to relate to someone that way.

But I'm a romantic. Sometimes a big age difference does work out.

LOL lively @ Horace?? be careful what you wish for.. as i say im not against age difference relationships but sites like this can give older men unrealistic expectations which only hurts them and makes them more lonely

Growing up I always had a better relationship and understanding with older people. I felt I was more mature than those my age. Now that I am a little older I feel a bit of the opposite. Young at heart :)

At different points in our lives we may find connections with people of different ages. This may be true for you now, and later you may feel differently.

DayDreamer, my closest online friend (or whatever you would want to call it) is a 24 year old woman. We get a long very well and share several interests. I realize we aren't going to meet, but we enjoy interacting online.
