I Believe A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way

It is the little things
that matter,
and small is beautiful
in this respect.
An unbidden smile,
the tiniest gesture,
but, makes a day.
An un-asked for cup of coffee,
an opened door held,
Mighty minutae,
wee ways,
creating harmonium
through baby steps
to all around
helping nurture
growth and wellbeing
gently spreading joy
through honest helping,
easy encouragement.
“That’s absolutely fabulous”
or “great job”
a simple hand on shoulder.

“You’re marvellous”
