Do you agree or disagree with the uk leaving the eu?

LOL well if you look at my posts i am very much for leaving.. i truly dont think we will regret it.. I am proud we stood up and rejected the scaremongering lies from those who tried to scare us into staying.. I dont think we will lose out as eu wasnt so much a free market for us but rather hindered and prevented us having free trade with other countries outside EU.. we imported way more than we exported to EU.. we were forced to take their goods under trade agreements.. we paid in millions each week and took way way less than that back... we faced utterly ridiculous rules and regulations that made no sense and hindered us and our ability to function as we would wish.. our farmers lost out especially.. to cheap eu imports and quotas we had to abide by and they didnt..
And when people talk about our economy.. we mustnt forget the effect that so many immigrants allneeding welfare benefits, housing, free education, free healthcare etc... cost our economy... I am in no way racist.. but we have vast vast influxes of people coming to work in the UK from EU countries like Poland, Romania etc etc..

Would be a bad idea for parliament to ignore the wishes of the people tho wouldnt it.. and yes there were those who must have or allegedly must have voted leave because of the immigration issue.. I dont believe that is necessarily always about bigotry or racism.. I think people need to realise the sheer numbers we have here and that it isn't just one group.. we have Europeans, esp romanian and Polish and we also have African, Asian, etc.. so just because someone expresses concern about the immigration issue doesnt mean they are racist or against any individual or group.. it's just the sheer numbers and the fact that that does have economic implications too from benefits and welfare to natives finding it hard to get work..to housing to schooling.. and education...
But it is also true that others voted for leave for many and varied reasons other than immigration.. the fact that one million more voted leave than stay says something..and we cannot just claim all those were racists :P

Totally agree, and they should have stopped paying already as far as I'm concerned,I'm very sure lots of the other country's if voted out would have stopped paying almost instantly instead of the performance that's going on,get the damn thing signed and let's get the hell out of the ripoff EU ASAP if it was down to me they'd never get another penny ever again as of today .

Yes, I cannot imagine living in a country that was subservient to a powerful clique in Brussels.

She will regret for generations the insanity of it, and in particular the open borders. They wil destroy Europe and the EU.

Agree, but it's really none of my business since I'm not a citizen.

While there were some free trade benefits to the EU there were also opportunities for weaker economies to suck from the better economies. Sort of like your unemployed brother-in-law moving in with you and your family and demanding steak and lobster for dinner every day, except for days when he's out cruising with his friends in my car. I have no objection to the unemployed brother-in-law moving in, but he doesn't get to demand that we live up to his standards on our monies.

Agree. Bureaucrats once again did their best to wreck a pretty good concept.

As a follow up I don't understand the discussions that are going on,sign and get out no need to talk of trade or any other things, get out first, that way any trade if there is any in the future is done on even terms and not bias either way with blackmail that's been used currently that will help no one.

We should have stayed in, though it'll be interesting to see if this does cause an effect with other nations leaving. Germany are most strongly committed to it as they get influence over Europe in a non warring way. So they may be doing their utmost to stop other countries leaving.

You couldn't have put it better,we were ripped off from the begining by the European Union and it only ever got worse and worse not better.

Yes. Because if it does so, the UK will collapse and form the Super-UK, and I'm pretty sure that it will destroy the world

I have a strong suspicion that the UK Government will ensure that BREXIT never happens.

Agree totally
The more I hear about it, the sadder I get. On the other hand, in the last few weeks I've been hearing that the leave sentiments are all about "bigotry", "ignorance", "demagoguery", "right-wing nationalism", etc. Now that it's over, the media hasn't change its tune, which means they clearly don't think very highly of a large portion of Britons.
