I'm not certain I understand grown-ass adults who can't understand how time zones work.

I quit a tutoring job because the head teacher didn't know what daylight savings/standard time was.
She screwed up the clock changes out of her ignorance and as a result I punched out too early. I was equally unaware but then again it wasn't my job to know when to change the clock and it WAS the head teacher's job.
When she called me later to bawl me out I just told her I quit.
I was just being used there like a machine anyway.
Made "education" hateful to me. It was ONLY about "getting the correct answer"...
And to think I lost my job because the head teacher didn't know what basic education was, doing things like knowing why the correct "time" is important, even for employees.
Never looked back. But if I had designed that job it would have been really different.
