I am not a christian so all I can do is examine the words to see if they impress me as poetry.
No. The above appears a mere statement of the obvious. Take out Lord God, made, power, arm and hard. Behold heaven and earth and there is nothing. I mean it just says what is: is.

@Maximusmax he didn't say that's the only reason people believe in god. Mostly it's due to cultural reasons, you grow up believing in the god your family believes in

I thought Dawkins was right saying people believe in God because they find it comforting to do so. Sure Synapse is right - as are you - comfort is not the only reason but I think comfort is at the centre of religion. Of course not being religious myself I do not know. I have no problem with existential angst or any need to comfort myself about the nature of reality. I enjoy the exploration and learning new things. For me to believe in a God would be a big obstruction to free thought.
