I Loved Someone That Didn't Love Me

I still love him. But he's long let me go, I've loved him since I was 16 years old. Last I saw him and talked was 2 1/2 years ago, but we couldn't make it work. There were too many dangers that would have followed. I think of him all the time, and I work every day to push his memories further and further away.

Its OK to still have feelings for someone especially if they were your "first" keep those bitter sweet feelings locked away in your heart to reflect on when you are an old lady in your rocking chair and move on. You will have more than one great love in your life.. if your lucky even more.

I'm 46- I was married for 22 years and had secret feelings for my "first" for over 20 years! I ran into him and was shocked to see what a loozer he turned into (crack head) those old feelings went away as soon as I saw him.
