I Get Lyrics Stuck In My Head

Nearly always I can remember close to every word of lyrics of a song I've heard (and understood). It's some kind of idiot savant thing.

I will not attempt to guess why, tonight, the song occasionally sung at Christmastime, "Good King Wenceslas" was running through my head over and over. But only the first verse, which I remembered perfectly - but when I looked in my brain for succeeding verses...only blackness.

Finally I looked it up. I don't think I ever [i]heard[/i] the rest of the song. Maybe I only heard the first verse in a medley of carols.

But it's a pretty cool story and now I can sleep.
