Should I wait until I'm 21 to get drunk?

I've only ever drank one glass of vodka in my life, so I never got drunk. I'm torn between wanting to get drunk with my friend before I go off to the air force, or waiting until I'm 21 to have a big night dedicated to getting drunk.

This is the problem with such strict laws on drinking. It makes alcohol a big deal. Some European countries allow a glass of wine with the meal from the early teens. They don't have this binge drinking culture which is popular in the UK and USA

@Alice: I mean...just because someone gets drunk doesn't mean they'll go to the ER. I know plenty of people who get drunk every single weekend.

You should practice first. And then have your big night dedicated to drinking at 21.
