What's the worst pizza that you have ever had?

Probably Domino's. It tastes like it was dropped on the floor.
Anything with pineapple
@Bobby1123422 I like spicey pizza sauce.
@quitwhendone that might not be too bad. I've had Frank's hot sauce as the pizza sauce. That was good with pineapple
CestManan · 46-50, F
Totino's frozen pizza is THE worst.

For non-frozen, Domino's and Little Ceaser's SUUUUUCK.
I do not know which is worse.
@MsAlaineEYes sounds like you are talking about their "pizza pizza" days. We LOVED their pizza then. When we seen them open up after 20 years gone we got excited. Oh the disappointment
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MsAlaineEYes yeah, and thanks for that behind-the-curtains on Little Caesar's. To be honest, I've always assumed they use artificial cheeses and inferior ingredients. Next time it comes up, I'll be a lot more likely to check them out.

Anybody have CiCi's Pizza? If you know, you know. It's awful.
@Graylight it sounds like she's talking about little Caesar's before they switched to the "Hot and ready" style. They used to be pretty good then

Cici's is good for taking kids to their buffet. I would never take home a pizza from there. Although their stuffed crust pan pizza is pretty good
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Any time I leave NJ and have pizza I regret it
@Keepitsimple all Jersey pizza is the best. even on the boardwalk at the shore
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Not all but most. I guess it’s what we get used to and what ingredients they use.@saragoodtimes
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
Vegan Pizza, the box probably tasted better.
I got one at the beginning of the pandemic when the shelves were bare. Nasty, I ate two bites and threw it out.

@SubstantialKick It's 🤢
My mother's, rest her soul:

Bisquick was the "dough", yuck.
Plain tomato sauce, I don't remember he adding spices, etc.
Cheese; this is the worst, orange colby or colby jack in squares...
and then, if you can get this far,
she fried up ground beef ( maybe salt?) and put it on it.
THEN, backed it til it was HARD and (I'm lmao😂)
there would be GREASE floating on top.😂🤣
If you tasted it, and I did, once, it was SALTY.
Couldn't stand the sight or smell of it but she proudly shared "how much it cost"...😂 breaking down the cost of each ingredient, giving the total cost of the "pizza".
Dad started ordering from a pizza place called "Emil's" not long after a dozen of those... she NEVER made them again.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MsAlaineEYes 😯 My mother was a spectacular cook as well. Not sure how, but she nailed the Stouffer's taste every time. She always said not to worry about all those orange boxes.
@Graylight To defend my mum, she didn't learn HOW to cook for her mum. She and my two Aunt went to live with grandfather when mum was 15. She was a delightful host and could prepare wonderful holiday meals, but supper/dinner, not so much. She did feed us lots of veggies but she OVERCOOKED the cauliflower (which I still LOVE raw and cooked and never overcook). She overcooked nearly everything: hamburgers, calve's liver (like shoe leather)
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MsAlaineEYes To defend my mother, she was vaguely taught to cook by her Irish mother. Not known much for our cuisine, the Irish.

Overcooking! Not only did my mom cook everything into belt leather, it seems I got the gene. Meat should just always cook "a little bit longer."
I love pizza but one time i ordered a pizza in person and had to wait 20+ minutes for them to make it and it wasnt what i ordered when he gave it to me and then instead of apologizing or anything for his mistake he canceled the order and made me reorder and repay and wait the 20 minutes all over again.. I was annoyed. I guess he got the other guy's order wrong too because they came back in and complained as well but they didnt bother with his reorder idea they just walked off and left angrily .. It was horrible .. I bet he did that to a bunch of people idk
Why 😳
dubkebab · 51-55, M
@SStarfish Fair enough. I can get pretty heated when it comes to pizza.
When I was a restaurant pro I had high standards, some people do not belong in that biz.
@dubkebab i like their cheese bread (it was a lil caesars) but their pizza waant great and it was maddening to have to wait twice the time and have to pay twice too. I thought that was bs. They shouldnt have someone at the register who cant take an order properly and cant even take responsibly or apologize for wasting peoples time and being so aggravating
dubkebab · 51-55, M
@SStarfish oh,lil ceasars is pretty lame in my experience.
the one 3 towns over is a crime mecca.
they had this one pretzel crust thing that was oh so good though-
then they stopped selling it !
Mindful · 56-60, F
The one I accidentally defrosted (the freezer had stopped working) before cooking! You’re not supposed to do that. It was a glob of glue
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@Mindful Yuck 😬.
bowman81 · M
Not a fan of Pizza Hut, the sauce tastes bad and I don't like their crust at all. I am not fussy about pizza, but will pass on Pizza Hut.
@bowman81 Same experience with them. I was so disappointed.
Probably the pizza that my high school cafeteria served. It was basically rubber with some cheese on it.
Totinos cooked according to directions.

Restaurant would be chinese buffets that try to make pizza
a pizza from Aldi's. usually their products are very good
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@saragoodtimes Mama Cozi’s was what I had and got bad heartburn from it.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@saragoodtimes I got a Totino's Party Pizza one time from Walmart, and the thing was basically cardboard with cheese on it.
ScrewThisImDone · 26-30, F
Either Cece's or Little Caesar's, they're both disgusting.
@ScrewThisImDone cece's buffet is good for the price but I would never buy a pizza to take home. Well maybe a stuffed crust pan. Those are the best thing they have
SW-User
I hate Domino's too. Worst pizza ever!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User crust as thin as cardboard and toppings very sparse....such a stingy pizza...I don’t understand how they are still in business.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
The first one ever. I think I was 4 back then. Don't remember from where it was but it sucked and I thought I wouldn't have pizza again. Two years later, it was Pizza Hut that made me absolutely love pizzas.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@MasterofNone 4 years old? Must have been really bad if you still remember that 😂.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@SubstantialKick lol yes I remember telling myself Pizza is so overrated, I'd never have it again.
SW-User
I don't remember where it was from, but I had a pizza that put so little sauce on it that the sauce had already dried by the time I received it. Total garbage. You're going to charge $2.00 a topping but put an ounce of sauce on a medium pizza? I don't get it.
my brother once order the wrong number and we ended up with broccolie and banana on it... why is something like that even on the menu
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SubstantialKick 🤮 But did you guys try it?
@Graylight well its either that or go hungry... personally i found the brocolie worse then the banana
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Strawberrry Well, you have my respect for bravery.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Domino's was terrible in college, they were terrible again when I tried them recently after a campaign of special cars and technology and promises.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@Graylight Their pizza sauce tastes like ketchup...lol.
SW-User
Lou Malnati’s. Georgio’s is the superior deep dish. I will fight people over this.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@SW-User I had Lou Malnalti's a few times, and I thought it was pretty good...
SW-User
@SubstantialKick Maybe I’d feel differently had I tried it earlier. 🤷🏼‍♀️ After Georgio’s it was a total disappointment though.
SW-User
Sbarro at the mall. It was so greasy I could see my reflection in it.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@SW-User I've always had good pizza from Sbarro, except this one time when I was in high school. It was so bad that it looked like they just didn't even give a s**t that day.
SW-User
@SubstantialKick Yeah the pepperoni was really gross and greasy looking.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@SW-User The pizza they gave me on this one day had almost no sauce, and only a little bit of cheese that looked and tasted like it was stale...LOL.
SW-User
I like Dominos but black olives on pizzas always ruin the taste and I have to pick them out
Probably the place that sold chinese and donairs out of the same shop.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SethGreene531 yeah when a restaurant sells too many types of foods they usually don’t do any of them very well. There was a man who was selling American diner food, gyros, pizzas, and other types of foods. Always had a low health dept. inspection rating, and got exposed on tv on a show about the filthiest restaurants. He stayed in business because there was a crowd that came in at night to eat & a low-budget hotel next door.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
That one that I had at summer camp when I got sleepy and when I woke up my mouth was sore.
Strictly To Go. Not even sure if they are still around.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
It was from a grocery store. I was curious. Sometimes its best to just stick to what you know. 🙂
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Zonuss the worst from a store was Mama Cozi’s from Aldi...the overwhelming flavor was the tomato sauce & I had heartburn so bad I didn’t sleep well. I am at the point of never buying frozen pizzas or entrees again. I can make better for about 1/3 the cost.
@cherokeepatti My son likes them but we are getting Lidl's 4-cheese and it is as good at Djorno's or Freshettas.
HannahSky · F
Little Caesars sucks.
@HannahSky I like their pan pizzas. Other than that it's pretty bad
DDonde · 31-35, M
@HannahSky Used to eat it a bunch long time ago. Like the burger king of pizza.
ScrewThisImDone · 26-30, F
Little Caesar's, the sauce tasted like upchuck.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Local place down the Jersey Shore. Abysmal. Overcooked af. It was actually comparable to eating the box it came in(yes, we actually did this).
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Gas station. 🤢🤢🤢🤢
@DearAmbellina2113 You know, I would think that too but when I was in Florida I actually had some pretty good gas station pizza. I was shocked.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@DearAmbellina2113 One gas station near me has pizza which looks pretty good. Looks can be deceiving though, lol.
Iwillwait · M
I don't care for Torino's.

I don’t like Pizza Hut. And I really wanted to. It was just, ugh. 🤢
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard The chains are really hit or miss, depending on the location.
Azlotto · M
The first and last time I ordered one with anchovies on it. Big mistake.
caesar7 · 61-69, M
Any pizza joint that has pineapple and anchovies on it..lol
@caesar7 someone gave me a slice of pizza with anchovies on it. I ate it out of courtesy and I would eat it again if they gave it to me but I definitely would never buy one
Are you in Chicago ?
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard Yep. I would love to visit the city sometime and get some good pizza. Last time I went was in late 2013.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SubstantialKick 😐 I tried famous Chicago deep dish one time. Loved it. But it's not pizza.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@Graylight Yeah, deep dish pizza is more like a pie...lol.
DDonde · 31-35, M
It always feels hit or miss for me. I've had decent domino's. I've had worse with Pizza hut. Too over the top.
