Not a film but [b]Adventure Time[/b], the Ice King's story especially and the tale of Marceline when she was a baby in an apocalyptic land. There's lots of others, these are not spoilers per se but when Finn finds out his dad is actually a criminal. He was so bent on seeing him because Finn is the only human so far in the show.

Adventure Time masks itself as a cute children's show but in reality if it wasn't drawn in such pretty colors it would be very dark because it is based after an apocalypse.

@Gelartsyyy Yeah Finn was so bent on seeing him because he's the only other human but he ends up to be a really exploitative and narcissistic throughout the show. It was sad though because Adventure Time is an apocalypse where, if you don't think of it in "pretty" terms then the underlying subject matter is kind of sad.

It's still a great show though but many scenes just made me cry lol.

@Gelartsyyy I watched Forrest Gump again a couple of months ago (hadn't seen it in ages). For some reason I was bawling my eyes out for most of the film. HE'S SUCH A GOOD MAN! 😭
