What's one of your worst cooking disasters ever?

Shortly after I got married years ago, I tried to make some oatmeal for breakfast one morning on the stove for my husband and I, and it ended up being a big huge clump 😂😂😂. Totally inedible 😂😂😂.

I made banana nut bread once and there were hunks of baking soda chunks sprinkled through out the entire loaf. I didn't think breaking up the chunks mattered and that if I mixed the batter up that would help. NOPE
@Astro Ewww 😝

@latinbutterfly The bread tasted fine until you bit into the lumps.

I once stuck a left over Chinese food box in the microwave... The metal handle ended up causing a spark and caught on fire lol. My aunt though, she stuck a cup of noodles in the microwave without adding water.. also caught on fire

once i made lamb chops for 8 people but i overcooked them and they were not very tender. i then learned that when you cook lamb too much all the fat goes out of it and then it becomes hard.

similar - i added powdered chicken stock to my oatmeal thinking it was brown sugar. imagine my surprise!

Dropped a pot roast in a glass Pyrex dish on the floor as I was pulling it out. Glass shattered every where and hot juices burned my legs

I slaved over dough for how long and baked a lead bread
through it out the back door nearly killing the dog

I had to take a cooking class in school. I failed it. It's the only time I ever got an F in school. I still don't know the difference between a tablespoon and a teaspoon or how many of either are in a cup.

Last time I tried making crepes I was really sad and unfocused and just made a big clump mess of fried batter.

That time I forgot a falafel in the microwave, it turned black, a lot of smoke, and my microwave stenched of burnt for a long time.

Oh wait, there's also that one time after pulling a couple of teeth that I wanted potato mash. Figured I'd be smart since I generally struggled to eat and go crazy with the stick blender, messed up the ratios as well, and ended up with this weird colored goop that made me feel weird after eating it.
